Hi, Tourguy, I'm brand new to this exotic island. It seems like you are the only person who lived here. I got questions for you. Why do you use two red Jacks avatar? Is there a special meaning to you? I have to zoom in to get a full screen mode in layout while browsing the forum. Could you please fix it?

Thanks for your concern about me being alone here. I am O.K. with that. This place used to have over a thousand fun posts when one didn't need to register to post, but it was hacked and back then I didn't know how to back up my data, so everything was gone.

This site has been dormant for a long time as I haven't been able to update it. It's my bad. As much as I would like to finish the updating, but that just doesn't happen, yet.

Setting the screen size has always been a hot topic among webmasters with no concrete "best solution".

The width of the page is set to 1024-pixel wide, I've thought long and hard to make this decision. I do believe it's the best for most readers and today's trend in screen sizes.

No one makes screen size smaller than 1024, and there are a lot of wide screens, so if I use %, it would be too wide for the wide screen users; if I used a fixed size, it's too small for those wide screen users. It is simply impossible to please everyone.

Screen real estate is very precious, I would assume when most people read, they utilize it to the fullest, thus, full screen mode.

If I have to change the width, I would probably just make it 724-pixel fixed.
